Full service hydroseeding is our passion and main line of business. We take pride in our hydroseed mix knowing it is a great fit for our Iowa weather. Materials in our mix

Biological Soil Ammendments

Fertilizer

Conventional Seeding, Overseeding & Food Plots

As an even cheaper alternative to hydroseeding, we now offer conventional seeding, overseeding on existing lawns, and the ability to plant food plots for those outdoor enthusiasts that don't have the equipment. With the additonal equipment we have purchased we have a fast and effective way to seed large areas that arent feasible to spend a bunch of money on hydroseeding or sod. Have a thin lawn? Overseeding is the perfect method to thicken your current grass stand.

Grading and Soil Prep

We now offer soil grading and final prep services along with our hydroseeding. Hard, compact soil is not something that should be seeded without the right preparation. Working the top profile of the soil will ensure the best seed-to-soil contact for superior results. Soil is a living organism and needs to be cared for properly to ensure a healthy lawn.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Myself, Andrew Kinley will be the one who installs your new lawn. We are not some big company who sends out underpaid or under qualified individuals to get our work done. I only take on so much work a year to ensure I can get to every single one of my clients and give them the best experience with Central Iowa Hydroseeding.

We have all necessary licenses and insurance for all of our projects. From small fill-in lawn projects to big multi-acre jobs, we have the right policy to cover it all.

The answer is simple. If there is water available the timing doesn't matter as much. Here in Iowa, we seed cool-season grasses so the best time frame is Spring and Fall for non-irrigated lawns. If there is access to a hydrant it can be done at anytime within reason of how warm the weather is.
